Oman Ministry showcases investment opportunities

Omans Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion recently promoted notable investment opportunities to foreign ambassadors and heads of global diplomatic missions.
The forum was hosted at the Invest Oman Lounge and aimed to introduce incentives and investment opportunities across various sectors to attract foreign capital. Moreover the presentation explained in detail the Sultanates economic development plans, investment laws and facilities provided by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion.
In addition, the forum also aimed to familiarise ambassadors and diplomatic heads with the essential services and facilities provided by the Invest Oman Lounge in order for them to promote the facility through their respective national business councils.
The Invest Oman lounge is a one-stop-shop that provides a whole suite of services to potential investors. Such services include the opportunity to speedily complete all procedures and requirements to establish a new entity in the Sultanate of Oman. Furthermore, the lounge offers integrated current information and statistics concerning investment opportunities. In addition it can provide data detailing favourable business formation incentives and facilities to investors.
Attracting foreign investment is an important goal of the Oman Vision 2040 and the meeting provided an opportunity to present Oman’s incentives and also gather feedback of foreign envoys. Further efforts concentrated on promoting Omani products to global markets with the aim of developing new foreign trade partnerships.
